About

David is currently the VP for Sports Product Strategy and Applications at the FOX Digital Consumer Group. In that role, he leads product strategy and is responsible for all its sports products. FOX Sports GO is the company’s lighthouse authenticated streaming application, presenting live sports and VOD from 30 national and regional cable networks along with tentpole programming across the 200+ affiliates of the FOX Network itself. FOX Sports GO—available across web, mobile and living room devices—has streamed the first Super Bowl with conventional authentication in place, along with every match of the most recent Men’s and Women’s FIFA World Cups.

Also in David’s portfolio is FOX Sports, a ground-breaking mobile application that reimagined what a daily sports app can be—integrating a flattened UI that brings relevant info directly onto the scoreboard, simplified navigation, best-in-class notifications and a new, addictive way to visualize the narrative of your favorite teams’ seasons. David’s new product design successfully challenged a commodified marketplace, achieving #1 in category on iOS and Android app stores Summer 2018. It is now consistently a Top 5 category app, with stellar ratings.

Prior to Fox, David served as Senior Producer of Sports at DIRECTV, where he created the popular iTV applications for NFL Sunday Ticket™. ScoreGuide™, another of his applications, remains the most widely-used iTV application in the U.S. David also created the company's first streaming video products—NFL Sunday Ticket™ To Go.

David's work has been recognized with 11 Emmy® nominations and four Emmy Awards®, along with 10 patents.

David lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children, having moved here from Pittsburgh years ago. His interests include history, archaeology, and social justice, but he spends a lot of his time with his kids, seeing movies, following the Pittsburgh Penguins, watching Penn State Football and growing heirloom tomatoes.
